Ocala

Originally from Vienna, Austria, Martha came to America in 1948 as a war bride.  She had many varied interests and love of many things throughout her life.  She was an avid reader, loved the law so became a paralegal, volunteered with the Suicide Hot Line and worked for the Rape, Spouse Abuse clinic, all in Ocala.  Her big love was for the animals and she had many throughout her life, mainly rescues and strays.

She took her final peaceful journey from home surrounded by her children: Larry Outlaw, with wife Jacke, Gloria OUtlaw and Sandra Cray, all of Ocala.  She is also survived by her sister, Hannelore Reithofer Leavy of Union City, NY; sister-in-law, Petra Reithofer of Vienna, Austria; nephews, Kristen Leavy of Union City, NJ, Tiernan Leavy of Miami, FL, Robert Reithofer and Roger Rott, both of Vienna, Austria; nieces Sabrina Reithofer and Petra Sedlemeyer, both of Vienna, Austria; two grandchildren, Amy Wilder with husband Ted of Washington State and Jeff Wilson with wife Jessica, of Oklahoma.  Not to mention her very good friends, both in America and Austria.

OUR HEARTFELT GRATITUDE GOES OUT TO HOSPICE OF MARION COUNTY FOR THEIR COMPASSION, CARING AND SUPPORT DURING THIS MOST UNEXPECTED AND TRYING TIME.

Arrangements are under the care of Countryside Funeral Home, Anthony, FL.
