Ocala – Marvin Reid Walker, 81, passed away March 1, 2016. Born September 7, 1934 in Williston, FL to Cecil B. and Helen J. Dees Walker. He was a lifelong resident of Marion County. He was an asphalt paver.
Marvin was preceded in death by his parents and son, Randy. He is survived by his sons, Michael (Kathy) Walker, Chipley, FL, Marvin R. Walker, Ocklawaha, FL and daughters Teresa Walker (LaVerne Harvey) Ocala, FL, Rita (Jason) Parks, Houston, TX, Stormy Walker, Ocala, FL; brother, Allen Walker, NC; sisters, Pauline Handy, Carolyn Rodriguez, Violet May and Beverly Reza, all of Ocala; fourteen grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren.
Memorial Service will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, March 7, 2016 at Countryside Funeral Home, Anthony, FL, with Rev. Charles McCartney officiating. Inurnment will follow in Fellowship Cemetery.
