DEAN, Mary Roberta
Ocala – Our beloved mother Mary Roberta Dean, 85, passed away May 12, 2015. She was Born April 6, 1930, in Washington D.C., to Samuel M. Hendrix and Alice R. Fowler Hendrix. She was a homemaker as well as a clerk for the Federal Bureau of Investigation. She was a member of the American Legion's Ladies Auxiliary and the V.F.W.'s Ladies Auxiliary for over 30 years.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Glenda M. Dean, and husband Jack Dean Sr. She is survived by her brother Kenny G. Hendrix, NC, daughter, Kathleen Youell (James), Middleburg, FL; sons, Jack Dean Jr., Rock Hill, SC, Thomas S. Dean (Cathy), Ocala, FL, and Michael K. Dean (Pam) East Palatka; six grandchildren, Amanda B. Youell, Tom Dean (Elizabeth) Cortney Register (Brandon), Justin Dean, Mitchell Dean (Brittany), Johnny Dean, and one great-grandchild, Allie Nicole Register. Her Celebration of Life Service will be held at Brookdale Paddock East in Ocala, Wednesday the 27th and a Family Memorial Service will be held at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. where Mary will be laid to rest with her husband Jack Dean Sr.
