Mary Fey

Mary Emma Reynolds Tomasovich Fey, passed at home, in Ocala, on July 18, 2022.  She was ninety-seven years, ten months, and twenty-four days old.  She always said that she would live to 99.  From the point of view of family and friends, she reached her goal, and she will be missed by all.

Among her many talents, Mary could whistle like a cowhand, throw a baseball, paint, write, sew, and protect anyone who needed protection.  Earlier this year the City of Ocala featured some of her recent paintings at the Parks and Recreation Center on 8th Avenue.  She was a spirited woman, full of ideas and goals.  She battled her way through life with strength and willpower.  All of us who knew and loved her, know that she is finally at rest!

Mary graduated from Follansbee High School, Follansbee, WV, in 1942 and soon thereafter married her high school sweetheart Luke Tomasovich.

Mary survived her late husband, Louis Luke Tomasovich Fey, and her son, Luke Lawless Fey Tomasovich; and she is survived by four children:  Nancy Ann Hilton of Los Angeles, Kathleen Iris Melville of Boulder, CO, Stephanie Louise Fey of Ocala, FL and Mark Steven Tomasovich of Micanopy, FL.  She leaves 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
