Mary Elisabeth Cambers Kehrer (nee Sharp) passed away on February 2, 2018 at age 88 in Ocala, FL where she resided.
Mrs. Kehrer was born on April 27, 1929 in Sewall, Iowa to Joe and Osie Sharp who have predeceased her. She graduated from Eldorado Springs High School and attended Central Bible Institute, Springfield, MO. She was the Administrative Assistant in Sales Statistics for Hallmark Cards in Kansas City, former President of the Tallahassee Porcelain Arts Guild, and served as docent at the FL Governor’s Mansion.
She is survived by her 2nd husband of 30 years, Jack Kehrer of Ocala, FL and her two sons: John A. (Heidi) Cambers of Palatka, FL and Philip W. (Sharon) Cambers of Ocala, FL, and step-son Richard (Gayle) Kehrer, Glennie, MI. Her grandchildren include Ashley Cambers, Emily Kinsaul, Holly Cravens, Jeff Cambers, Joey Cambers, Scott Cambers, Billy Cambers, and Elsie Cambers. She also has 5 great-grandchildren. She is pre-deceased of her 1st husband Rev. William H. Cambers of 37 years.
Funeral visitation will be on Thursday, February 8 from 6-9 PM and funeral service on Friday, February 9 at 10 AM at Langsford Funeral Home, 115 SW 3rd St., Lee’s Summit, MO 64063, phone 816-524-3700.
