Mary Elizabeth Stallings

Mary Elizabeth Stallings, age 77, of Silver Springs, Florida, passed away on December 23, 2023 .  She was born on January 15, 1946 in Norfolk, Virginia a daughter to the late  Cooper Pitt and Willie Mavis Abrams.  Mary was adopted after their passing by Lucy Mitchell Cobb and Willard Boyd Cockrell. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Jimmy Carlton Stallings; brothers: Carl, Roy, Walter, Cooper, George, David, William, and Henry Abrams; sisters: Mavoneen Ownes, Elma Wass, and Thelma Garris. 

She leaves to cherish her memory, Daughter Melissa (Shane) Campbell, Brother James (Jean) Creekmore and Sister Linda (Jerry) Howard. Grandchildren: Riley Eric, Brandon Tyler, Collin Bryce and Cooper Pitt Campbell

A viewing has been scheduled for Friday December 29, 2023 at 7:00pm at Countryside Funeral home with visitation for one hour prior to the service.  Burial will be in Clayton, North Carolina in the Pine Crest Memorial Park. Please send all flowers to McLauren Funeral Home in Clayton, NC.
