Mary Wood

Mary Ann Wood, 93, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on January 26, 2022 in Rome, Georgia. She was born July 28, 1928 in Foley, Alabama to Verna Walker Gebhart and Anna Mary Armstrong Gebhart. She was a school teacher for 30 years in the Marion County School System.

She was predeceased by her parents; husband Rev. Boyd F. Wood, Jr.

She is survived by her children, Amy Gebhart (David) Ocala, Fl,  Becky Moss (Kenny) Rome, GA, Glenn Wood (Jean) Sachse, TX, Karen Crone (Bob) Ft Myers, FL ,  34 Grandchildren, Great grandchildren and Great Great grandchildren.

She was a long time member of First Baptist Church Ocala, FL. A Graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday February 5, 2022 at Highland Memorial Park, officiated by her grandson Pastor Byron Moss, Rome, GA.
