Maude Purdy, (93) of Ocala, FL, formerly of Peekskill New York, passed
peacefully at home, surrounded by love and family just as she wanted.
Maude was married to her loving husband, Melvin H. Purdy, for 62 years.

in 1982. With no original plans to work again, Maude ( LPN ) started
working at Munroe Hospital in Ocala ( Today is called Advent Hospital ),

This was no surprise, given the work ethic and values they held.
They continued working until 1995, and retired again.
Maude was an extremely giving and amazing person and a blessing
to all who knew her. Maude was very active at her church,
Ocklawaha Baptist Church, for 20 years, with her sister Olive Heffner.
