ADKINS, Melba Priest

Anthony - Melba Priest Adkins, 83, passed away January 22, 2018. Born and raised in Ocala, FL, on January 4, 1935, to Walter and Birdie Cason Priest.  She was a medical transcriptionist for Dr. Ruben in Ocala.

She is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her sons, Scott "Brad" Adkins (Patti), Keith Adkins; and three grandchildren, Desireé, Caleb, Dalton Adkins.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Anthony First Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Johnson officiating. Interment will follow the service in Anthony Cemetery. Arrangements under the care of Countryside Funeral Home, Anthony, FL.
