Ocala - Melvin Eddie Dunlap, Sr, 69, passed away September 12, 2016. Born in Eastman, Georgia, on July 18, 1947, to Jesse M. and Robbie D. (Mullis) Dunlap. He moved to Ocala from Georgia in 1971 and worked as a fuel truck driver for Chevron Oil for 37 years.
Eddie is preceded in death by his parents, Jessie M. And Robbie D. Dunlap; brothers, Thurman and Charles Dunlap; sister, Betty Oxley;
Eddie is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Judith A. Dunlap; son, Eddie Dunlap, Jr (Angela); daughter, Tamara Byrd (Martin); sisters, Gloria Hagle (Les), Dorothy D’Onofrio (Jerry), Elizabeth Walker (Ron); grandsons, William Byrd, Samuel Byrd, Austin Jacobson; granddaughter, Letity Dunlap;
Memorial Service will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 1, 2016, at Countryside Funeral Home, Anthony, Florida.
