Michael Coy Barrow

Michael Coy Barrow, aged 74, of Anthony, Florida, passed away on November 27, 2023. He was born on July 16, 1949 in Miami, Florida, son to the late Coy Hampton and Peggy Doran (Whitesell) Barrow. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by brothers Kenneth and Ronald, sister Barbara, and his wife Valerie Ann (Allred) Barrow. Michael enjoyed being an umpire and instructor with the Little League, hiking in the mountains, bird watching, visiting lighthouses, and spending time with his grandchildren. He also strived to be a good Christian and all around good person to everyone he met. He is survived by his brothers Raleigh and Danny, sisters Therese and Wanda, son Michael Coy (Kimberly) Barrow Jr. of Elizabethtown, KY; daughters Beth Michelle (Michael) Lacassagne of Abita Springs, LA; and Sara Grace (Kevin) Craddock of Lake Panasoffkee, FL; grandchildren Laurie (Brian), Logan (Leanndra), Samuel (Lili), Madison, Brayden, Darien, Connor, Abigail, Courtney; great-grandchildren Corbin, Leia, Avram, Levi, and Silas; and numerous nieces and nephews who lovingly referred to him as “Uncle Mike”. Funeral services will be have been scheduled for Saturday, December 2 nd , at 2:30pm at Central Church of Christ in Ocala with Jody Broyles officiating. The family will receive friends and loved ones half an hour prior to the service. Interment following service in AnthonyCemetery. Countryside Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
