Mike gained his wings to join God on Monday, January 20, 2025 very unexpectedly.
Mike was born September 26, 1968 to Michael Samsel and Linn (Linda) Cummings in Sidney, New York. He was later adopted and loved by John O. Cowart.

The family moved to Ft McCoy, Florida in 1977 where he attended school and graduated from North Marion High School in 1986.
After graduation he joined and proudly served in the United States NAVY during the Gulf War.
After the service he went into Concrete work and from there into being an Ariel specialist for several cable companies doing a lot of out of town, out of state work during storm seasons.

Mike was preceded in death by his father Michael Samsel, second father John Cowart, his younger brother John Jr.., and his sister Marty (Margaret),Queen.

Michael is survived by his children Bailey Williams and Blake Cowart. His son in law Keith Williams. His grandchildren Ronan Williams and Claire Williams.
His mother Linn Cowart, and his siblings Jasonn, Justin, Cole, Heath, and Danya.

Mike was also blessed with several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews in life.

A service will be held at Countryside Funeral Home at 9185 NE 21st.Ave. Antyhony, Florida 32617....352-620-2006, on Saturday, February 8th.,at 2p.m.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made directly to Countryside Funeral Home to help with the costs or there will be a donation container at the service.
