HARDING, Michael S.
Mike passed away in Gainesville, FL on April 4, 2017. He was born in St. Austell, Cornwall, England on March 27, 1939 and came to the United States, along with his mother, Mary Harding in 1956. After serving in the U.S. Navy he settled in Trevose, PA, where he lived until 1995. He also lived in Forked River and Mauricetown, NJ for a time, and then moved to Salt Springs, FL in 2001.


He volunteered for the Tri-Hampton (Trevose Heights) Rescue Squad for 30 years, serving multiple terms as Chief. He was also an EMT, paramedic, and an instructor. While in Florida he was a member of the Salt Springs Citizen Patrol.


Mike was predeceased by his mother, Mary; sisters, Patricia Ann Kelly, Biddy Harding; as well as his most loved dog girls, Salty and Pepper.
He is survived by his sister, Josephine Branch and her daughters. He is also survived by his fiancé , Pat Michener; his best bud, Bo; and beloved friends, Dave and Joan Schurer.


At his request there will be no services. Arrangements under the care of Countryside Funeral Home, Anthony, FL.
