Nicholas Ludwig

Ocala - Nicholas Edward Ludwig, 77, passed away peacefully at home to meet the Lord on May 18, 2018. Born to Joseph William Ludwig and Rosella Gast on August 14, 1940, in Louisville, Kentucky. He graduated from the University of Louisville. He worked for many years as a yacht builder for Broward Marine Shipyard.

He is preceded by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife, Marilynn Ludwig; sons, Noah Thameling and David Bartley; daughter, Dawn Pomales (Marcos) and daughter/granddaughter Jordyn Thameling; brothers, Joseph Lee Ludwig, Kenneth Louis Ludwig, Richard William Ludwig, Gerald Whayne Ludwig, James Mickle Ludwig; grandchildren, Kyle Thameling, Tyler & Brian Sweeney.

Nicholas will be forever remembered as the strength and glue of our family. A devoted husband, loving father, and doting grandfather.
