Ft. McCoy – Norman Norcum Nelms III, 60, passed away December 27, 2017. Born October 3, 1957, in Wilmington, NC, to Norman Norcum Nelms Jr. and Mildred Dove Nelms. He graduated from the University of Florida and was Sr. Vice President of Design and Construction for Penn National Gaming.
He is survived by his loving wife, Karen Nelms; son, Michael Nelms; daughters, Taylor Nelms and Brooke Williamson (Lee Williamson), and grandchildren Finley, Bennie, and Rivers Williamson.
Memorial Service will be 11:00 am, Friday January 5, 2018, at St. Luke’s Methodist Church, 4851 S. Apopka Vineland Rd, Orlando, FL 32819, with Bill Barnes officiating.
In lieu of flowers, there will be a memorial fund established that will benefit Norm’s community.
