Pamela Lee Knight

Pamela Lee Knight, age 73, of Ocala, Florida, passed away peacefully at home on June 12, 2023.  She was born on July 11, 1949, in Ocala, Florida a daughter to the late Doyle and Betty (Vanderstoup) Barrineau.  

It was a rare occasion when being out, that Pam wasn’t recognized from her time at the Coffee Kettle Restaurant or Monroe Regional Medical Center.  After she retired, she volunteered her time with the Hospice of Marion County Thrift Store.  She made many cherished friends.  

She loved spending time with her family but without a doubt her greatest joy was being Nanny to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be remembered as a loving and dedicated wife, mother, and Nanny.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Richard Staten Knight, Sr.  She leaves behind three daughters Karen (Rusty) White, Marie (Paul) Jarvis and Patty (Robert) Kirby, a son Richard Knight, Jr (Dawn), eleven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
