Patricia "Tessie" Louise Shifflett

Patricia "Tessie" Louise Shifflett, age 79, of Ocala, Florida, passed away on December 27, 2023 at home surrounded by her family.  She was born on June 26, 1944 in Clarksburg, Maryland, a daughter to the late Edward James and Ethel (May) Moran. 

In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her devoted husband of 64 years Arthur (aka Leamon); brother, Benjamin "Bud" J. Moran; and three sisters, Kathleen James, Mary Ricketts and Lilly Lucille Moran. 

Patricia "Tessie" was known to always be on her back porch.  She had a green thumb and loved flowers and watching the birds.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory three daughters and son-in-laws, Patty (Ronnie) Tucker, Debbie (Billy) Pritchard,  and Wanda (Scott) Homan, grandchildren R.C. (Nichole), Holly (Nick), Tiffany (Tommy), Tyler (Dallas), Amber, Lil Billy, Hunter, and Walker, and great grandchildren, Slade, Addison, Taylor, Blake, Emrey, Remi, Ava, Ella, and Candler as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.   A Celebration of Life service will be held on January 26, 2024 at 11:00am at Countryside Funeral Home.
