Phillip "Chub" Kent

Phillip "Chub" Mathews Kent , age 75, of Ocala, Florida passed away on April 24, 2023.  He was born on April 19, 1948 a son to the late Harry Kent, Jr. and Elaine (Thomsen) Kent who survives him. In addition to his father he was also preceded in death by a son Christopher and a brother Wesley.

Phillip was a Veteran of the US Navyand a former employee of SPX Manufacturing.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory in addition to his mother, his devoted wife of over 28 years Ann Marie (Hurt) Kent, two sons Todd A. Patterson and Frank "Chip" R. (Sierra) Patterson, daughter Carla Mitchell, brother Larry (Ginni) Kent, twelve grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  The family has scheduled a Memorial Gathering for Friday May 5, 2023 at 6:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home.
