Phyllis Marie Sheppard, 69, passed away peacefully at Hospice on September 7, 2016. Born in Central City, Kentucky to Glen and Louise Bishop Swift on November 9, 1946.
Phyllis is survived by her loving husband Marvin; son, Jeff (Christine) Sheppard; daughters, Julie (James) Smith, Janet Dunn; sisters, Margaret Harper,
Guyneth
Freels, Agnes Long; brother, Norman Swift; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Phyllis was a loving wife of 50 years,
mother,
and grandmother. She was dedicated to a life of service for others. She had a career as a nurse, homemaker, entrepreneur and remained dedicated to serving the Lord.
Memorial service will be held Saturday, September 10,
2016
at 11:00 a.m. at Unity Baptist Church of Anthony, Anthony, Fl. Pastor Kenny Thompkins will be officiating. Arrangements under the care of Countryside Funeral Home.
