Ocala - Ralph E. Owens, 76, passed away September 28, 2016. Born in Alachua, FL, on May 19, 1940 to John Hamilton and Elna Cason Owens. He lived in Marion County almost all of his life and was a member of Anthony United Methodist Church. He worked for the United States Postal Service for 42 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Ann Owens; son, Jeff Owens (Kristie); daughter, Kim Thompson (Carl); brother, Jack Owens; sister, Fay Bonner; and eight grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Countryside Funeral Home, Anthony, FL with Pastor Don Pratt and Reverend Chuck Miles officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior. Arrangements under the care of Countryside Funeral Home, Anthony, FL.
