McINTOSH, Rebecca Duane

Ocala - Rebecca Duane McIntosh, 58, passed away peacefully January 7, 2019 surrounded by her friends and family. Born in Portsmouth, VA, on January 20, 1960, to Bill Duane and Mildred Porter Duane, she moved here in the late 80s from Charleston, SC.

Becky was a homemaker and helped to run her husband's dentistry practice.  She was a proud mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. She was active in many ministries at Blessed Trinity Church in Ocala, FL. Becky loved her Catholic faith and her church family. She lived an exemplary life of humility, generosity, patience, and faith - placing all her trust in the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Don McIntosh; brother, Billy M. Duane, Jr.; and sister Denise Davis.   She leaves behind her beloved daughters, Layna McIntosh Halstead (Jason), Kayla McIntosh; brothers, Martin Duane, Christopher Duane, Jack Duane; sisters, Michele Kelly, Patricia Duane, and Sylvia Molley; and five grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, with a praying of the rosary at 7:00 pm, Friday, January 11, 2019, at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, Ocala. Funeral mass will be 1:30 pm, Saturday, January 12, 2019, at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church with Father Patrick Sheedy officiating. She will be laid to rest in St. Lawrence Cemetery in Charleston, SC. Arrangements are under the care of Countryside Funeral Home, Anthony, FL.
