Richard Horne

Richard C. Horne, 75, passed away at home on April 30, 2022 in Anthony, Florida. He was born August 30, 1946 in Kingsland, Georgia to Bernie Horne and Oveda Thomas Horne. He worked in the construction industry building bridges. He loved fishing, working in the yard and being with his family.

He is preceded by his parents; wife, Betty Jean Horne; brothers, Robert and Malory Horne; sister, Elaine Horne Wilson.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Wilson Horne; son, Andy and Keri Horne; daughter, Sara and Jeffrey Lancaster; brother Jack and Lorraine Horne; grandchildren, Samantha and Dustin French, Taylor and Tyler Powell, Andrew and Serena Horne, Bailey Elise Burttram, Sueanna Tripp, Brittany Taylor, Blake Doughtry, Austin Lancaster, Dallas and Sarah Batz; great grandchildren, Emma, Elijah, Liam, Steven and Waylon. Along with many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held 12:00 p.m. Saturday May 7, 2022 at Countryside Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior. 9185 NE 21st Ave Anthony, Florida. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Humane Society of Marion County; 701 NW 14th Road Ocala, FL 34475. 352-873-7387
