MONSIGNORE, Richard Anthony
Ocala - Richard A. Monsignore, 71, passed away June 23, 2017. Born April 21, 1946 in Somerville, Massachusetts, to Joseph and Mary R. Monsignore. He moved to Marion County from Davie, Florida over 32 years ago. He was a member of Blessed Trinity Catholic Church.
Richard is preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Pat & Joey Monsignore.
He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Eileen Randolph Monsignore; stepson, Steven Lumpkin and wife Marcy; brothers, Warren and Eugene "Gene"; sister in laws, Josephine and Patty Lumpkin; Nieces Annette, Mary, and Donna. Nephews David, Eugene, and John. Grand children Allison, Ashley, Amber, Adam and great grandson Owen.
Rich was a lifelong entrepreneur, avid horse owner, and showman. Rich loved being around family, friends, and anyone who shared common interests. Rich had a big heart and would always help anyone in he could.
Funeral service will be 3:00 p.m., Friday, June 30, 2017, at Countryside Funeral Home, Anthony, Florida with Father Zbigniew officiating. Interment will follow in Anthony Cemetery. Arrangements under the care of Countryside Funeral Home, Anthony, FL
