Riley Thomas

Riley Irvin Thomas passed away peacefully in his home surrounded  by his family on Saturday January 16, 2021. He was born on July 7, 1940 in Ocala, Florida to Ottis Thomas and Rosie Touchton.  He was a Marion County Native and a graduate of Ocala High School.  Riley was a Ready Mix truck driver for Evans Concrete for many years until his retirement.

Riley was a simple man and spent his time on this earth loving his family dearly and working in his yard.  He also had a true compassion for the automobile and an undeniable love for the full spectrum of nature which he lovingly passed down to all of his children.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ottis and Rosie Thomas, sisters; Sadie Boliek, Cornelia Loos, Margaret Yearty and brother; Raford Thomas.

He is survived by his loving wife; Elizabeth Ann Thomas, son; Van Thomas(Glen), daughters; Deanna Myers(Bill) and Paula  Hudson(Tom) and brother; Mitchell Thomas.  Riley also was blessed with nine grandchildren; Ramsey Crosby, Roy Blackstock,  Randy Shaffer, Raven McDonell, Kynzie Crosby Hudson, Ryan Malone, Tyler Malone, Kelly Malone and Rachel Malone.  Riley was also blessed with many Great Grandchildren.
