Ocala - Robert Allen Bonnell, 84, passed away on June 14, 2017. Born in Garfield Heights, Ohio on September 8,
1932
to Alfred and Helen C. Bonnell. He has been a Marion County resident for the past 20 years.
Robert is preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey J. Bonnell; and daughter, Barbara Corbett.
He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Lois W. Bonnell; sons, Mark Bonnell, Robert N. Bonnell; daughters, Beth Morgan (Dwaine), Kim Cade (Robert); sisters, Virginia Sever, Laura B. Pionkowski; 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
One of Robert's interests was in the art of Japanese Bonsai. He belonged to different clubs in the Seattle area during the late 1980s and 90s. Robert and Lois also enjoyed flower gardening. Robert loved music and singing and was a member of the Sweetwater Shape Note Singers of Gainesville FL. Robert was a member of the Kendrick Baptist Church.
