Silver Springs - Robert Lee DeLong Sr. 78, passed away July 30, 2017. He was born September 15, 1938, in Ocala, FL, to Jessie and Della D. DeLong. He lived in Marion County all of his life and worked as a Master Mechanic for the City of Ocala.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Annie Louise DeLong; sons, Billy M. DeLong, Robert DeLong, Jr; daughter, Rebecca A. Smith (Douglas); brother, Arthur "Pete" DeLong; sister, Marie Johnson; 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be 11:30 a.m., Saturday, August 5, 2017, at Cedar Creek Baptist Church, Silver Springs, FL with Reverend Mike Kikendall officiating. Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. Arrangements under the care of Countryside Funeral Home, Anthony, FL
