Lake City - Robert Lee Merkley, 70, passed away February 8, 2017. Born in Pike County, Kentucky on May 5, 1946 to Joseph E. and Eulah M. Merkley. Robert has been a Marion County resident for over 20 years.
Robert is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Helen Sue Merkley; sons, Robert and his wife Diane, Rick and his wife Barbie, Darrin; brothers, Ray, Keith; sisters, Betty, Ann, Barbara Sue, Alfredia; 3 grandchildren; and dozens of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 12:00 pm, Monday, February 13, 2017 at Countryside Funeral Home, Anthony, FL. Visitation will be one hour prior. Interment to follow in Millwood Cemetery. Family asks everyone to join for food and fellowship after the graveside service concludes at Friendship Baptist Church, Reddick, FL.
