Robert Monk

Robert Gowdy Monk, 66, passed away on June 1, 2022 in Ocala, Florida surrounded by family. He was born November 29, 1955 to Henry Gowdy Monk Jr and Nevia Jean Newman. He worked as an insulator in the construction industry.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Debbie Monk; parents; son, Robert Monk Jr.; daughter, Jeanne Marie Blaske.

He is survived by his daughters, Kimberly Fenner (Brad), Monica Wright (Kenny) and Jessica Monk;  son, Steven Monk and step-son, Ricky Lee (Michelle); step daughters, Cindy Lee, Belinda Lee, Crystal Goodyear (Michael), Theresa Berry (Trampus); brother, Ricky Monk (Robin); mother in law, Linda Hendrix; sister in laws, Tammie Martin, Penny Woods and Gina Arredondo; multiple nieces and nephews; 24 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Robert loved life, his family, his three dogs and the Florida Gators.
