Roger Vangunten

Ocala - Roger Lewis VanGunten, 82, passed away peacefully on June 29,
2020 at Hospice Legacy House. He was born on April 12, 1938 in Lima,
Ohio to Roger VanGunten and Betty Gardner VanGunten.
In 1965 the family moved to Margate, Florida where he became a plumber
and continued when the family moved to Ocala, Florida in 1974.
Roger was a member of Ecclesia Life Church in Ocala. He was a faithful
man of Yahweh, encourager and a true servant. He loved life and his
family and friends, and is truly missed.
He is preceded by his wife Dian Johnson VanGunten of 56 years, and
granddaughter Lindsey Dakota Hart.
He is survived by his daughters Christine June (David) of Mosheim TN,
Kimberly Hart (Bryon) of Ocala, FL, son Scott VanGunten of Dunnellon, FL;
and his grandchildren, Nicole Cole (Travis), Sarah June (Keem Hover) and
great-grandchildren Ethen Cole and Lily Hover.
A Celebration of Life to be held in August at Ecclesia Life Church, 1425 NE
63 rd Street, Ocala, FL 34479, date to be announced.
