MATCHETT, Russell William
Citra - Russell William Matchett, 82, passed away peacefully at home, October 6, 2017 surrounded by his family. Born and raised in Citra, FL, on August 6, 1935, to Irvin William and Grace Viola Matchett. He has lived here all of his life and worked for Waldron Farms for 32 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Betty Deloris Smith. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Sally Matchett; sons, Paul William Matchett and Michael Leroy Matchett; daughters, Alice Miller, Patricia Ann Hughes, Ruthie Irene Adkins (Norman); and brother Edwin "Walt" Cheshire.
Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 pm, Monday, October 9, 2017 at Countryside Funeral Home, Anthony, FL. Funeral Service will be 11:00 am, Tuesday, October 10, 2017, at Simmons Baptist Church. Interment to follow in Simmons Baptist Church Cemetery.
