Fort McCoy - Sara Michelle Raney, 56, passed away October 15, 2021. She was born June 8, 1965 in Leesburg, FL to Benny Cordle and Mary Ellen Kelly Cordle. She was a homemaker and adored her family and spending time with them. Michelle had an eye for photography, loved the outdoors and enjoyed gardening. She loved flowers and the significance and beauty of them.
She was a self proclaimed event planner making the visions in her head come to life, especially weddings, she made some of the most gorgeous floral arrangements I’ve ever seen.
She lived life to the fullest, never afraid of anything and never backed down from anyone or any challenge. Loved with her entire being without a second thought. When she walked into a room time stood still. She had the ability to take over that room with her contagious smile and loving heart and yes, she was always the life of the party.
She loved and adored all her children but that paled in comparison to the love she had for her 10 grandsons; Chase, Nick, Jarred, Dalton, Kayden, Isaak, Brooks, Jake, Jude, and Matthew and 7 grand daughters; Emily, Alyssa, Olivia, Taylor, Isabelle, Tensley and Mary.
She is preceded in death by her loving daughter, Chrislyn Lewis.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 32 years, George Raney; sons, Dalton Lewis (Jessica), Danny Raney (Tonya), David Raney (Mary); daughters, Heather Grant, Christy A. Cutler (Amick); brothers, Kenny (Sue) Cordle, and Ben (Lynn) Cordle; half-sister April Cordle.
Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at Countryside Funeral Home, Anthony, FL. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at 1:00 pm.
Fellowship and gathering after the service will be held at Mike Raney’s Pavilion, 11191 NE 220th St., Ft. McCoy, Fl 32134.
