Shirley Mae Stalnaker Boykin, 73, passed away peacefully at home, September 23, 2015. Born August 28, 1942, in Ft. White, FL, to Samuel Clarence Stalnaker and Eva Mae Dow Stalnaker. She was a homemaker, avid bingo player, and always enjoyed going on Cruise trips. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, William Fielding Boykin (2009); parents; and brother, James Edward. She is survived by her sons, Tracy Boykin, Inverness, Terry Boykin, Ocala; daughters, Peggy Jean D’Armand (Greg), Port Richey, FL, Jackie Wiebe (Gilbert), Ocala, Kymberly Young (Michael), Inverness, Jennifer Rahman (Sedeek), Ocala; brothers, Willie Eugene Stalnaker (Bill), William Earl Stalnaker (Pat), Harry Stalnaker (Sammy), Jesse Thomas Stalnaker (Tommy); sisters, Lillie Mae Polk, Helen Virginia Ponds; fourteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 11:00 am, Monday, September 28, 2015, at Oak Griner Baptist Church, with Pastors Dan Lyman and Pete Menendez officiating. Funeral Service will begin at 12 Noon. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at 12:30 p.m., Tuesday, September 29, 2015, at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Citrus County in memory of Shirley Boykin.
