Ocala - Susie Freeman Knight, 89, passed away May 24, 2017.  Born in Bushnell, Florida, on October 23, 1927, to Charles and Grace Freeman.  Susie is preceded in death by her beloved husband Otis A. Knight. She grew up on Lake Weir before moving to Belleview as a teenager, where she remained through her married life.  She worked in outdoor advertising as an office manager and then for the family business, Belleview Growers Packing Co. Susie loved to travel, cook, read and spend time with family and friends.

Susie is survived by her son, Richard A. Knight; daughter, Suzon K. Teuton (Terry); grandchildren, Travis, Justin, Taylor and Ashton; and 9 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 5:00 PM, May 30, 2017, at First United Methodist Church, Anthony, FL, funeral service to follow at 6:00 PM with Dr. Don Pratt officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Marion County, PO Box 4860, Ocala, FL 34478-4860. Arrangements under the care of Countryside Funeral Home, Anthony, Florida.
