WADE, TAMMIE JEAN
OCALA- TJ (Tammie Jean) Wade, 57 , passed away December, 12 2021 in Ocala, Florida after an unexpected, brief and spirited battle against cancer. Days before being called home to paradise, TJ surrendered her life to Jesus Christ and is praising the majesty of our Father in Heaven this very day. She passed from this world peacefully in the early morning hours, in comfort and with family at her side.
She was born October 12, 1964, in Varifax, Virginia as the baby daughter to Robert Lynn Wade and Fayetta Wade Wilson (nee Hill). TJ lived her life with passion, purpose and tenacity. In her earlier years, that spirit came across as a young lady who refused to keep on her dresses at preschool, preferred Levi’s and tomboy antics like riding horses and traversing the monkey bars. TJs family settled in Florida when she was about 4 years old.
Once TJ came to Florida, she fell in love with the culture and beautiful scenery of our State. She became a successful business owner of a Grooming shop for many years, making many friends and faithful customers through her passionate craft. Throughout her dedication and time put in to grow her work, she was also able to be mother to 3 daughters. These children were witness and learners of her strength and drive to succeed. TJ learned this strong work ethic from her own Father and Mother. She would work long hard hours throughout the week, often enjoy the Florida Keys sand between her toes, and the love of her grandbabies each holiday.
She is preceded in death by her Grandparents Francis and Tilman Hill, Levi and Alice Wade; Father Robert Wade in 2011, followed by her passionately loving husband Mark Mcmillen in 2012, and most recently by her sister Bonnie Wade.
She is survived by her Mother Fayetta Wade Wilson (nee Hill); Sisters Linda Roche, Laurie Griswold and Julie Shanks. TJ is further survived and her memory lives on in her daughters
Chasidy Danyelle Mitchell, Blaze Jensen and Kenzie Mcmillen and her Grandchildren Christopher Ray, Angelina Mitchell and Ella Jensen; Along with step-grandchildren Kaylee and Jennifer Jensen, TJ (or Girdie, as all her Grandbabies would call her)and her many other babies and children that she had welcomed and loved as children within the family she began to create many years ago.
