Teresa “Teri” Almany Castle

July 13, 1956 – November 18, 2024

Teresa “Teri” Almany Castle, 68, born in Winter Park, FL and resided in Reddick, Fl. tragically left us, due to an auto accident on 11/18/2024.

Preceded in death are Father Douglas H. Almany, Mother Elizabeth O. Almany, Sister Donna A Jones and Brothers Ronald Almany and James Almany.

Teri is survived by her husband, Steven E. Castle, of Reddick, Fl. and stepchildren Eric Castle, Amanda Castle and Craig Castle, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Teri was raised in Sanford, FL and attended Seminole High School. After moving to Ocala, she worked at Sun Bank and Sun Bank South as a bookkeeper and then CFCC majoring in photojournalism and became a photojournalist for the Ocala Star Banner and the Tampa Tribune. In 2000 she became a property appraiser and started Almany Daniels Appraisal. In 2011 she became a licensed insurance agent.

Teri loved to donate her time and talents to the Southeastern Youth Fair helping to layout and photograph for the magazine and the youth fair. She enjoyed traveling, had a huge love for animals and wildlife and enjoyed photography, gardening, cooking and spending time with family and friends.

There will be a Celebration of Life at Countryside Funeral Home located at 9185 NE 21 st Ave., Anthony, Fl. on Saturday January 11, 2025 at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers please make memorial donations to the Humane Society of Marion County or your local affiliate.
