Terrance Monroe Seigler, age 70, of Hawthorne, Florida, passed away on July 12, 2024 after a brief illness. He was born on August 13, 1953, in Mulberry, Florida, a son of Hugh and Doris Seigler.
He met the love of his life, Carolyn Perry, in Memphis, TN. They were married almost 50 years and had three children, Crystal, Sarah and Allen. Terry served his country honorably as an enlisted member of the United States Air Force. During his time, he was stationed in Michigan, Mississippi, Texas, and England; and while in Turkey, also served during Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm. He retired from the Air Force in 1994, just after the graduation of Sarah and Allen. Because of the strong role model that he was, Crystal and Allen, decided to follow in his footsteps and also enlisted in the Air Force. All of his children strived to be like him and lead lives as honest, fair, supportive, loving people.
Terry was well loved throughout his life and was known as a follower of Christ, a devoted husband and father, a loyal brother and caretaker, a hard worker, an empathetic lover of animals, a banana pudding-eating FOOL, and an amazing chef (his spaghetti was THE BEST!!) He was a kid at heart and loved playing with his children and grandchildren. Together they had epic water hose wars. Terry’s favorite hobby as sharpening knives, which he did religiously and was very good at (you could cut a hair in two when he was done!!!)
He leaves behind to cherish his memory; wife, Carolyn Seigler; daughters, Crystal Fortune (Luke), Sarah Braten (Shane), and daughter-in-law, Karen Ericson; brothers, Steve (Barbara), Patrick; sister, Lee Ann Gaugh; and grandchildren Steven, Ethan, Katie, Summer, Richard, and Rachael. He also leaves behind his loyal dogs who will also miss him terribly.
He is preceded in death by parents,Hugh and Doris; brothers, David and Tony; and son, Allen Monroe.
