Ocala – Husband of 35 years to Nancy Lacey, father of Brittany Lacey of Nashville, TN, Brooke Lacey of Tampa, FL, and Mark Lacey of Jacksonville, FL. Also survived by his parents, Edward and Pauline Lacey of DeLand, Florida, and eight siblings: MaryJo Lacey, Libby (Mike) Boylan, Teresa (Jerry) Givens, Peggi (Mike) Kaley, Paula (John) Tabar, Matt (Katy) Lacey, Patrick (Tammy) Lacey, and Mike Lacey. Uncle to countless nieces and nephews.
Tom passed away Saturday, January 16, 2021 after a short illness just a few weeks short of his 61st birthday.
Born in Flint, Michigan, the Lacey family moved to Ocala in 1998. Tom worked as a Fixed Operations Director for Jenkins Auto Group, the line of work Tom pursued his entire career.
A parishioner at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, friends could count on seeing Tom at Saturday afternoon mass. Tom was also an avid tennis player who loved spending time with his family by the pool. He also adored his dog Abby.
Friends can obtain a link to join funeral services via Zoom Saturday at 12:30pm from Blessed Trinity Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Blessed Trinity Church, sister parish Uganda.
