Tony Cowart

Anthony "Tony" Cowart, 80, of Silver Springs, Florida passed away on September 7, 2021 peacefully at his home.

Tony was born March 21, 1941 and was raised by his grandparents H.P and Effie Cowart. Tony attended Summerfield School. Tony had a Tree business for many years then began building fence and owned Cowart and Son Fencing.

Tony loved spending time with his family and loved to garden and loved a good ole fish fry.

Tony is preceded in death by his grandparents, H.P and Effie Cowart; his wife, Tanya Cowart; his two sons, Mark Cowart and James Cowart. He is survived by his sons, Elvis (Donna) Cowart, of Martel, Florida, Craig (Donna) Cowart of Old Town, Florida; daughters, Patricia Arrendendo of Silver Springs, Florida; Lori (Lamar) Peebles of Silver Springs, Florida and Deidra Cowart of Silver Springs, Florida; along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his "special" sisters Anna Lou Goodwin and Beanie Bryan.

Graveside service will be held at 4 PM, Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Waldena Cemetery in Lynn, Florida officiated by Pastor Blaine Whitt.
