Ocala - Violet May, 69, passed away January 14, 2018. Born October 25, 1948, in Ocala, FL, she has resided here most all her life. She was a bus driver for MCSB.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence May and son, Chris Edward Turner, parents Cecil and Helen Walker.

She is survived by her daughter, Wendy Freet;   Nanny to her granddaughters, Holly Bunnel and Desarae Freet; great-grandchildren, Levi and Raylen; sisters, Pauline Handy, Carolyn Rodriguez, Beverly Reza, all from Ocala; brother, Ralph “Allen” Walker, Waynesville, NC; many nieces and nephews and her dog “Zorro”. Arrangements under the care of Countryside Funeral Home, Anthony, FL.
