EDMONDS, Virginia Ann
Ocala - Virginia Ann Edmonds, 71, passed away February 5, 2017. Born in Leitchfield, Kentucky on March 16, 1945 to Arnold and Eunice H. Alvey. Virginia has been a Marion County resident for over 40 years and retired from the Marion County School Board.
Virginia is preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Edmonds Calhoun.
Virginia is survived by her loving husband on nearly 50 years, Charles Edmonds; sons, Vince (Susan), Matthew; brothers, Larry, Louis, Dale, Jimmy Alvey; sister, Bonnie Miller; 3 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 11, 2017, at Christ the King Catholic Church, Citra, FL with Father Patrick Sheedy officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Friday, February 10, 2017, at Countryside Funeral Home, Anthony, FL. Arrangements under the care of Countryside Funeral Home, Anthony, FL.
