Walter W. Stepinsky, Jr. was born in Herminie, PA where he raised his loving family. He retired from the Union Railroad in 1988 and moved to Florida in 1995 to spend his golden years with his loving wife, Regina. Where he lived for 26 years. He sadly passed away peacefully in Advent Health Hospital in Ocala, FL on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at 90 years old.
Walter was a Corporal in the US Army, a Korean War Veteran, and an avid volleyball player for the military. He was a loving Father, Grandfather, Uncle, Brother and Son. He was an inventor and loved woodworking. His favorite hobbies were cutting grass and working in the yard. His favorite music was by Randy Travis, Roy Orbison and Polkas. His most proud accomplishment was his family.
He was preceded in death by his son, Daniel J. Stepinsky, his mother and father, Gladys and Walter Stepinsky Sr.; brother, Frank Stepinsky, Brother-in-law, George Fraicola and Daughter-in-law, Robin Stepinsky.
Walter is survived by his loving wife, Regina of 69 years. Also his brother, Richard Stepinsky (Joann), of Herminie, PA; sister, Helen Fraicola of Greensburg, PA; eight children, Dave Stepinsky, of Ocala, FL, Tamy Sweeney (Patrick), of West Newton, PA, Cary Stepinsky, of Herminie, PA, Lona Shugart (Cooksey), of Cleveland, TN, Veronica Madigan (Mark), of Irwin, PA, George Stepinsky of Herminie, PA, Charles Stepinsky, of West Newton, PA, Suzanna Luclow (Tony), of Herminie, PA; 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
