Warren Shaw

SHAW, Warren Arthur, 85, passed away at home peacefully surrounded by his loved ones, April 3, 2015. Born on October 1 1929, he has resided in Fort McCoy, FL for the past thirty years. He retired from GTE (Tampa) as the Director of Engineering, and was a veteran of the United States Navy. He is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Ruth Meyer Shaw, as well as his brother, Artie Shaw. He is survived by his loving wife, Theadora Shaw; two sons and five daughters; sister, Audrey (Ron) Duke; four-teen grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews. A viewing will be held at 12:00 p.m. followed by the service starting at 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 6, 2015, at Countryside Funeral Home, 9185 NE Jacksonville Rd., Anthony, FL. Interment to follow at Orange Springs Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Jude Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
