In the early morning hours of March 16th, the world lost a great outdoorsman and father. William “Bill” Levi Easter joined his parents and his brother Jack in the Kingdom of the Lord. Born April 16th, 1964 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida to Bernard Levi Easter and Annie Ruth Melton Easter, Bill spent most of his life in Florida.
He is survived by his two daughters, Elizabeth and Evelyn, brothers Perry, Larry, Don, and Gene, and his sister Sandra. He will be remembered as an avid fisherman and a vivid story teller. He was known to many as a mentor and teacher. However his favorite role was being Grandpa to his two grandsons, Waylon and Roe.
The family is holding a viewing at Countryside Funeral Home at 12pm on Saturday March 26, with a service to celebrate Bill’s life starting at 1pm. Following the service, Bill will be laid to rest at Highland Memorial Park in Ocala.
