Weirsdale - William Franklin "Junior" Hollingsworth, 89, passed away September 26, 2016. Born in Fort McCoy, FL, on December 6, 1926 to William and Nellie Mae Hollingsworth. He lived in Marion County all of his life and was a member of First Baptist Church of Weirsdale for 57 years and still served actively as Church Deacon at his death.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Patricia Lynn Hendershot and great-granddaughter, Lindsey Marie.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Emma May Hollingsworth; son, William Reginald "Regie" Hollingsworth (Marcia); daughter, Rose Marie Lindsey (Tim); 7 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 1, 2016 at First Baptist Church, Weirsdale, FL with Pastor Bruce DeVoe officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior. Arrangements under the care of Countryside Funeral Home, Anthony, FL.
