William Odendahl, Jr.

Ocala - William John Odendahl, Jr., 88, passed away September 30, 2016. Born May 27, 1928 in Bronx, NY, to William John Odendahl, Sr. and Ethel MacIntyre Odendahl. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in the Korean War, University Associate Professor in several universities on business curriculum and taxation, he held an Accounting Major in Taxation and then retired as a CPA.
He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Joyce Odendahl; children, Barbara Moran, Susan Long, William Odendahl, III, Matthew Odendahl and Jennifer Pavlov; step-children, Perry Foy, Bonnie Tucker, Wendy Foy and Melissa Massey as well as several Grand and Great Grand Children; two brothers John and Thomas Odendahl, sister Ethel Kleinhans; He is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Eileen Smith and Bernadette Flynn.
Memorial mass will be 11:00am, Thursday, October 6, 2016 at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church with Father Patrick Sheedy officiating.
Interment will be at 2:30 p.m., Monday, November 7, 2016 in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
