Yuri Kholodkov

Yuri Kholodkov, 79 year old native of Ukraine, died on May 23, 2020 as a result of injuries sustained in a traffic accident. Mr.Kholodkov was struck and killed by a passing vehicle as he was taking a morning stroll outside of his Summerfield, Florida residence.

Mr. Kholodkov was preceded in death by his wife Natalia in July 2011, and is survived by his son Alexey Kholodkov. He brought them to U.S. in 1995 in pursuit of the American dream. He was grateful for the opportunity to provide a better future for his son, and so earnestly labored as a salesman and a security guard. Mr. Kholodkov cherished his modest family above all else. His dream was to see his son, Alexey, succeed in life, to which purpose Yuri committed himself fully.

Mr. Kholodkov was a devout Orthodox Christian. Health permitting, he attended services at Panagia Vlahernon Monastery where he will be served the funeral service on Monday, June 1, 2020. In his final wishes Mr. Kholodkov requested the honor of being laid to rest at  the monastery where his wife Natalia is also buried.
