MAI, YVONNE LEE
Ocala-Yvonne Lee Mai, 90, died on Monday, October 23rd, 2017. Born in Wu Han, China, Yvonne was the daughter of the late Dr. Paul Lee and Ceio Wa Lee, and married to the late Chinese Air Force Captain Jen-Hsien Mai. She relocated with her children to the United States in 1957.
Yvonne raised her children in Jacksonville, FL. A renowned watercolor artist, Yvonne was active for many years in the Art League of Jacksonville. She worked in administration with Prudential Insurance before retiring to Gainesville, FL. She relocated to Ocala in 2005. An immensely talented and beautiful lady, she will be dearly missed.
Surviving is her daughter, Kathleen Lee Mai of Ocala, son, Peter Lee Mai and daughter-in-law, Sharon Mai of Ocala. In addition, Yvonne is survived by her sister, Theresa Lee of Staten Island, NY, and brothers, John Lee of Del Mar, CA, Peter Lee of Princeton, NJ, and Francis Lee of Taiwan, along with many loving friends.
A memorial service to celebrate Yvonne's life will be held at noon, Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at Christ The King Anglican Church located at Living Waters, 3801 N. US Highway 441, Ocala, FL 34475 with Father Don Curran officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Yvonne's memory may be sent to the CTKA Building Fund.
