Gail Downes

 Gail Downes, age 63, of Ocala, Florida passed away suddenly on October 26, 2023.  She was born on March 25, 1960 in Ocala, Florida, to Louie and Nancy Swoveland. 

 

She leaves behind to cherish her memory,her mother Nancy Swoveland, a son Cory Bainbridge (Kathrina), daughter Deanna Cross (William), sisters Cindy Foster, and Loraine Stoklosa (Mark) and Granddaughters Kylynn Cross and Joslynn Cross. She also has numerous nephews and nieces that she loved dearly. She is also survived by her precious teacup Chihuahua, Destiny.   

 

She is preceded in death by her father Louis Swoveland and her two brothers, Lewis and Larry. She is also preceded in death by husbands, Mark Bainbridge and William (Bill) Downes.

 

Gail was an avid crafter and was well known for her beautiful afghans she crocheted. She loved having a craft booth at the O'Connell Center craft fair and worked all year long on her crafts for the booth.

She will be missed dearly by all those who knew and loved her.
